At May Shaw ‘Age In Place’ Independent Living Village, consideration was given to planning small lots of less than 350sqm, where the traditional sub-division layout is challenged and exchanged for a conceptual design which offers orientation and ESD opportunities. Small efficiently designed building footprints maximise the yield potential of the tight infill site. Food producing trees in front gardens, street furniture & children's play area are also considered.
