Birrelli was established in 1994 and with 15 years experience, has continually provided professional services to the design and construction industry in Tasmania and has consistently received awards for excellence in design and project management. These national and state awards recognise the quality of our architecture and construction management in heritage, residential, multi-residential, low-cost housing, education, commercial, industrial, tourism and interpretation, and environmental sustainability.
Birrelli are the first Tasmanian architects to become members of the Green Building Council of Australia and are Accredited Professionals licensed to 'greenstar' rate projects.
Our practice is recognized and committed to making inspiring built environments that are sustainable and perform for efficient and safe working places that are disability access and inclusion friendly.
Birrelli provides professional architectural and construction management services to our clients. Property and construction risk management are provided with third party certification.

Our creative process to develop a successful logo and ongoing brand cohesion is to begin with a thorough understanding of your business via client meetings. We will ask questions about your enterprises core values, your position within the market, who your competitors are, your targeted clientele, what your brand promise is and how you will deliver that brand promise. Once we have gained a clear insight of your brand we set about designing visual elements that consolidate all the information into the clearest, most concise and precise ways possible. These visuals will be evocative of everything your business stands for, helping people understand and believe your brand promise.
The next step is to meet again, and together with the design selections nominate the preferred option for design development. During the evolutionary process, we often design collateral material such as stationery as this generally uncovers any shortcomings within the original idea, and allows for a continuing process of refinement to occur.
Once the design is finalised and ready to print, we will work with the client and the producer - the printer or the signwriter - to obtain quotes based on our specifications, and to ensure the production process runs smoothly and is to a sufficiently high standard.
